Prospective editorial contributors are invited to submit article proposals for the Software Test Professionals web site (softwaretestpro.com) as well as the Software Test & Quality Assurance magazine.
Articles are written for software and application development managers, project managers, team leaders and test and quality assurance managers. Articles should provide useful information about trends and emerging technologies, best practices, policies and procedures, choosing development and test methodologies, determining requirements, hiring and managing staff, solving quality and performance problems and proactively implementing new technologies. All submissions should offer practical solutions, tips and techniques for improving enterprise software quality and post-deployment performance. Editorial contributors should be experienced practitioners in the field of software development, test and performance management.

- Previously published works are considered
- Full article with proposed title, abstract and body copy
- Or link to article on your blog or web site
- Graphics as .jpgs or .gifs (One object per 1,000 words is optimal)
- If you are submitting online: your author bio, head shot and contact
information will be automatically pulled from your membership profile.
Please ensure your profile is up-to-date. If more than one author
needs to be cited please use the search feature to add additional authors.
If the co-authors are not in the search function please send the additional
author bio, head shot and contact information as part of your text.
- If you choose to submit your article for both magazine and web content your article will be held until magazine publication and then it will be posted online.
Editorial Submissions for Software Test & Quality Assurance Magazine
- Content previously published in other magazines will not be considered
- Full article with proposed title, abstract and body copy
- Or link to article on your blog or web site
- Graphics (i.e. charts, graphs, architectural diagrams, code listings; one object per
1,000 words is optimal; graphics must be eps, pdf or jpg files; jpgs must be a min of
300 dpi actual size)
- If you are submitting online: your author bio, head shot and contact information
will be automatically pulled from your membership profile. Please ensure your
profile is up-to-date. If more than one author needs to be cited please use the
search feature to add additional authors. If the co-authors are not in the search
function please send the additional author bio, head shot and contact information as
part of your text.

Who May Submit Proposals
All software test and quality assurance professionals - practitioners, consultants, professional speakers, trainers, and solution providers - are invited to submit proposals.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Clear expertise in the topic proposed
- Dynamic presentation skills and experience presenting in front of large audiences.
- Content pertinent to test management, testing processes and methodologies, test metrics
and measurements, agile development, leadership and strategy, test automation, test teams
and culture
- Proposal content that emphasizes practical, proven, how-to ideas rather than theory
- Specific content for experienced testers, rather than general, introductory overview content, receives higher consideration.
