C&W Worldwide's APM solution ensures optimum performance from business-critical applications across its next-generation network (NGN).
APM uses a central software management suite to ensure business-critical applications perform well, consistently, and deliver better value from the network by optimizing bandwidth use. It monitors network traffic and application performance in real-time, automatically distributing and managing network allocation to ensure traffic is prioritized according to what applications an organization has decided are most business-critical. APM can also accelerate selected applications across the Wide Area Network (WAN), improving the performance of all types of applications - from file sharing and databases to software distribution.
"Compuware and Cable&Wireless Worldwide can help customers reduce IT costs and increase organizational agility," said Kimberly King, Vice President of Channels and Alliances, Compuware Corporation. "We are pleased to be working with C&W Worldwide to deliver world-class solutions for advanced technologies and cloud computing."
