The Software Test Professionals Conference ... in review

Software Testing Test and QA Conference Presentations Development Leadership Software Test Professionals Conference
STPCon last week was a great conference -- but I'm sure not everyone in our reading audience got to attend.

For that matter, even if you could atend, you couldn't get to every session.

So I'm pleased to announce a few writes from the sessions I attended.

First, my session on hands-on quick attacks, which I actually wrote up between giving it locally and presenting at the conference.  (Yes, beta-test my talks.  And Cappa-test. And Delta-test.  You get the point.)

More than just a review of the session, I worked to infuse that blog post with actual exercises, so you can follow along - or run a team brown bad if you'd like.

Next I wrote about Justin Hunter's session, "Let's Test Together", that introduced Pairwise testing.

Then there was the "How to Decrease the Cost of Testing" panel.  That caused a little bit of a ... stir.

My coverage of the conference ended with Kent Beck's keynote on how compressed release schedules are impacting the way we build and test software.

But that's not all

Hey, conferences are great, conferences are wonderful, but I don't think that once a year (twice if you are lucky) is often enough to get together.  So I did a final post in the series about how to find, create, build, and support local user's groups.

I hope you find those helpful.

Next up: A TWiST recorded live from Las Vegas, Nevada.  And more!
