Title: Risk Metrics & Reporting
Speaker: Julie Gardiner, Consultant and Trainer, Grove Consultants
Date: Thursday, December 15, 2011
Time: 11:15-12:15 PM PT
During Julie Gardiner's professional evolution, from developer to DBA to project manager to tester to test manager to consultant, she has learned that in her experience testers use the wrong language to communicate their message. Testers sometimes believe managers are interested in test cases, coverage and bugs, but they don't care about these things. What is helpful to them is an appreciation of product risk and benefits for them to make more informed decisions. During this session, explore management friendly alternatives to frequently flawed bug, test case, and coverage metrics & reports that instead allow us to be a valued information provider.
