Title: The Lone Tester In an Agile World

Agile teams are often more self organizing, and the idea of a dedicated test team is seen as an anachronism. There are certainly roles and room for testers, but they will not be operating in the same manner or with the same goals and a dedicated team in a traditional "command and control" environment. In this talk, I will share some of the challenges and opportunities that testers face when they are the single tester embedded into an Agile team. Working through story estimations, understanding the story development process, managing test strategies within the story process, and testing in a test driven development world (what does that mean anyway?).
