and quality community to vote for an industry luminary that represents the qualities you aspire
to. We have accumulated the community’s nominations in the first stage and now submit to
you the top 3 nominees for final voting.
Luminary Award Update 09/03/2010:
Thanks for stopping by. The 2010 Software Test Professionals Software Test Luminary Award
nomination and voting periods have come to a close. The testing community nominated and then
chose this year’s luminary. We are very excited about the up-coming announcement where we
will present the Luminary with his award. This will take place at the Software Test Professionals
Conference & EXPO 2010 in Las Vegas, NV October 19th – 21st.

Gerald M. Weinberg as the Software Test Luminary Award Recipient. Mr. Weinberg truly exemplifies an industry luminary. He is a programmer who has authored or co-authored several hundred articles and more than 30 books. His works have addressed operating systems and programming languages, as well as all phases of the software development life-cycle, including defining problems and requirements, analysis and design, testing and measurement, as well as management.
